For the noodles:

For the stir-fry:
Ingredient Quantity Chicken breast 500g, sliced Onion 1, sliced Bell pepper 1, sliced Carrots 2, julienned Garlic cloves 2, minced Ginger 1 tsp, minced Vegetable oil 2 tbsp Salt To taste Pepper To taste Green onions For garnish
- Preparation:
- Cook the chow mein noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, sugar, cornstarch, and water to make the sauce. Set aside.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over high heat. Add the sliced chicken and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add the onion, bell pepper, carrots, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for a few minutes, or until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Add the cooked chicken back to the pan, along with the cooked noodles and the sauce. Stir-fry everything together until well combined and heated through.
- Serve the chow mein hot, garnished with sliced green onions.
